I have many fond memories of the Victorian Studies Masters Degree program at Keele under the direction of the late Andor Gomme. I also enjoyed attending the lectures of John Killham with whom I shared an interest in Tennyson.

I was in the first iPGCE cohort in Bangkok, Thailand (2012–13), where I was living. The course was excellent: each module began with inspiring weekend lectures and workshops led by Keele lecturers, and it was a great chance to connect with trainees across SE Asia. The international module was also a unique feature. Led by Course Director Graeme Easdown, it greatly benefited my teaching career. I’ve since taught in SE Asia and now Central Asia. With thanks.
